Frequently Asked Questions

130 decibels. That's 2x louder than an ambulance siren up close. It's loud enough for everyone within two blocks to hear, and loud enough to disorient anyone standing next to you. You will not mistake it for a phone notification.
Yes. Solvanea is non-violent and contains no chemicals, gas, or electrical charge. You can carry it in your purse, your carry-on, or clipped to your bag through airport security without any issues.
Pull the pin from the top. That's it. The 130dB siren and LED strobe fire instantly. No buttons, no unlocking, no sequence to remember. When you're safe, reinsert the pin to stop it.
No. Solvanea is rechargeable via USB-C. A full charge lasts for months on standby and gives you hours of continuous alarm time. Plug it in like your phone and forget about it.
Yes. The ring on top goes straight onto your keys or your bag strap. It's small and light enough that you forget it's there - until you need it. And the body pulls free of the ring, so the ring stays on your keys while the alarm goes where you throw it.
Yes. Reinsert the pin and it's ready to go again. It's rechargeable and reusable. There's nothing to replace, refill, or rebuy.
The pin requires a deliberate pull to remove - it won't fire from a bump in your bag or a drop on the floor. If it does go off by accident, just push the pin back in and the alarm stops immediately.
Yes. Solvanea is legal in all 50 states and most countries worldwide. It's a noise and light device - no weapons, no chemicals, no permits required. Unlike pepper spray and tasers, there are no restrictions on carrying it.
Orders ship free from our US warehouse within 24 hours. Standard delivery is 6 to 12 business days.
Try it for a full year. If Solvanea doesn't make you feel safer, send it back for a complete refund. No forms, no questions, no hassle. Email us and we'll sort it.
